I’m Tom, a brand and digital designer with over 17 years’ experience. I work with organisations at different stages - from new ideas and launches through to established businesses that need things tightening up or moving forward. Before designing anything, I take time to understand how the business works, what matters, and what needs to be clearer. That way the work holds together across brand, digital and communication - not just at launch, but over time.

I work across a wide range of digital projects - from content-led and e-commerce websites through to more complex interfaces in technical and regulated sectors. My focus is always on structure and user journeys first, before visual design and build.

Communication design

Much of my work involves helping organisations communicate complex ideas clearly - through reports, presentations, infographics and large-format or exhibition work. I focus on structure, hierarchy and storytelling, so information is easier to understand and more effective for its audience. This often spans digital, print and physical outputs.

Ongoing design support

Alongside project work, I support organisations on a monthly retainer basis - working as an embedded design partner over time. This provides continuity, momentum and a deeper understanding of how the brand works, rather than starting from scratch each time. It’s a more considered way to support evolving brands and ongoing design needs.
