A digital-first report designed to communicate progress with confidence
CLdN needed a digital-first carbon report that could clearly communicate environmental performance in a way that felt confident, professional and easy to navigate. The report needed to work across devices, align with CLdN’s existing brand, and support conversations with investors and stakeholders.
I worked with the team to shape a calm, considered format that made the information accessible without overwhelming the reader.
Challenge
Carbon reports can easily become long, static documents that are difficult to navigate and rarely revisited. While the content itself was already well defined, the challenge was how best to present it — creating something that felt modern, engaging and credible, particularly on screen.
Approach
Before designing anything, I spent time understanding what needed to be communicated and how different audiences would use the report. The focus was on structure, hierarchy and clarity.
I organised the content to guide the reader, using infographics and visual cues to support understanding without distracting from the message. The design was kept modular, allowing the report to be updated and evolve over time.
The carbon report is now a core part of CLdN’s sustainability communications, presenting a transparent and professional picture of environmental performance and future ambitions. It supports ongoing conversations with stakeholders and reinforces CLdN’s approach to responsible logistics.
