Establishing a clear framework for responsible progress
Sibelco is a global leader in industrial minerals and glass recycling, operating across 31 countries. Their sustainability strategy balances economic performance with environmental responsibility and social impact.
I worked with Sibelco to help establish a clear, credible way of communicating this progress through their reporting.
Challenge
Sibelco wanted to integrate ESG values into its corporate reporting for the first time, while creating a format that could evolve alongside future sustainability ambitions.
The challenge was to introduce this clearly and confidently, without overwhelming stakeholders or losing sight of the wider business context.
Approach
I developed Sibelco’s inaugural activity report in 2019, establishing a clear and accessible framework to introduce ESG goals and targets to a broad stakeholder audience.
Building on that foundation, I went on to support the 2020 and 2021 reports - evolving the narrative year-on-year while maintaining consistency, clarity and credibility.
The reports have become central tools in how Sibelco communicates its impact and commitments, reinforcing transparency and aligning with global expectations around sustainability and responsible resource management.
